DESIGN
New impressive exciting design, shaped like no other yacht with her vertical bow and long, crisp lines frameless windshield gives unlimited open feeling individually hand-built for the client by boatbuilding craftsmen consequently every FJORD 40 open is unique, a beautifully customized one-off. What makes the Fjord 40 open so special are her characteristic lines and innovative design which give her an unique, modern look. Vertical bow, sharp edges, precise horizontal lines and clean surfaces: these are elements of a style reduced to the minimum. Each detail is created exactly according to its function. The relaxation begins with your first step on the Fjord 40 open. Serve cool drinks to your family and friends in the spacious seating area in the stern and turn the ignition key. You can hardly hear the motors start. Once its two powerful Volvo engines have got delivered you far enough offshore, The children can have fun jumping off the bathing platform and you relax on your king size sun lounger – or have a party on board.

HERITAGE
All success stories begin with a challenge, and we are no exception. In 1960 there was nothing but sea and a distant horizon before us: as we saw things, that could never do.
Se we rolled up our sleeves and set our brains to work, and that’s how Fiart was born. The acronym stands for ‘Fabbriche Italiane per l’Applicazione di Resine Termoindurenti’. At 3.6 metres, our forst fiberglass boat, Conchita, was indeed rather small. Almost nothing, when measured against the span of our history to date.
And yet it is thanks to her, and to later models such as the Sagittario that Italians stopped simply gazing at the sea, and took to seamanship. In a short lapse of time, boating became popular and widespread, and Italy a little more light-hearted.
Our boats today are much larger than Conchita and are fitted with advanced engines and equipment, and can range far and wide. The world has changed, and we must follow suit.
